کراچی:- ( ) سی ای او / ایم ڈی واٹر بورڈ انجینئر سید صلاح الدین نے چیئرمین واپڈا لیفٹینٹ جنرل سجاد غنی (ریٹائرڈ) سے گریٹر کراچی بلک واٹر سپلائی سکیم (کے فور) پراجیکٹ آفس میں ملاقات کرکے (کے فور) منصوبے کے پہلے مرحلے پر پیش رفت کا جائزہ اور تفصیلی تبادلہ خیال کرتے ہوئے (کے فور) منصوبے کو جلد از جلد مکمل کرنے پر اتفاق کیا، اس موقعے پر سی ای او واٹر بورڈ انجینئر سید صلاح الدین احمد نے (کے فور) پراجیکٹ انتظامیہ کی جانب سے منصوبے کی تکمیل کیلئے کئے گئے اقدامات پر اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے چیئرمین واپڈا لیفٹینٹ جنرل سجاد غنی (ریٹائرڈ) کو مکمل یقین دھانی کرواتے ہوئے کہا کہ کراچی کے شہریوں کو پانی کی مزید بہتر فراہمی کیلئے (کے فور) سمیت دیگر جاری منصوبوں کو جلد از جلد مکمل کرنے کیلئے ہر ممکن اقدام کیا جائے گا، انہوں نے کہا (کے فور) منصوبے کی فوری تکمیل کیلئے واپڈا سے بھرپور معاونت اور تعاون کیا جائے گا، انکا مزید کہنا تھا ہمیں امید ہے چیئرمین واپڈا لیفٹینٹ جنرل سجاد غنی (ریٹائرڈ) کی سربراہی میں واپڈا اپنی پیشہ ورانہ اور ماہرانہ صلاحیتوں سے (کے فور) منصوبے کو اپنے مقررہ وقت میں مکمل کریگا، ملاقات کے دوران چیئرمین واپڈا لیفٹینٹ جنرل سجاد غنی (ریٹائرڈ) اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے کہا واٹر بورڈ سمیت دیگر متعلقہ اداروں کے ساتھ سے ملکر (کے فور) منصوبے کو جلد از جلد مکمل کرینگے، انہوں نے کہا (کے فور) منصوبے کو جلد مکمل کرنا ہماری اولین ترجیحات میں شامل ہے اور اسلئے اسکی فوری تکمیل کیلئے ہنگامی بنیادوں پر اقدامات کیے جارہے ہیں انشاء اللہ (کے فور) منصوبہ اپنے مقررہ وقت میں مکمل ہوگا، انہوں نے سی ای او واٹر بورڈ انجینئر سید صلاح الدین احمد کی جانب سے شہر میں فراہمی و نکاسی آب کی بہتری کیلئے کی گئی کوششوں اور کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ واٹر بورڈ انتظامیہ کی جانب سے شہر کیلئے فراہمی و نکاسی آب بہتری کیلئے کی گئی خدمات قابلِ تعریف ہے، واضح رہے کہ (کے فور) منصوبہ کراچی کو کینجھر جھیل دریائے سندھ سے یومیہ 650 ملین گیلن پانی کی فراہمی کے لئے تشکیل دیا گیا ہے جبکہ (کے فور) منصوبے کے پہلے مرحلے کی تکمیل سے کراچی شہر کو 260 ملین گیلن یومیہ پانی فراہم کیا جاسکے گا، وفاقی حکومت نے اِس منصوبے کے پہلے مرحلے کی تعمیر کی ذمہ داری واپڈا کے سپرد کی ہے۔

CEO / MD KW&SB Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed meeting with Chairman WAPDA Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani (Retd).
Karachi:- ( ) CEO / MD KW&SB Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed met Chairman WAPDA Lt. Gen. Sajjad Ghani (retd) at the Greater Karachi Bulk Water Supply Scheme (K4) project office to review & discuss the progress of the first phase of the (K4) project, Considering (K4) agreed to complete the project as soon as possible, On this occasion, CEO KW&SB expressed his satisfaction on the steps taken by the (K4) project management for the completion of the project & assured the Chairman WAPDA Lt. Gen. Sajjad Ghani (Retd.) said that the all possible steps will be taken to complete other ongoing projects including (K4) for better supply of water to the citizens of Karachi, He said that WAPDA will be fully supported for the immediate completion of K4 project, He further said that we hope that WAPDA under the leadership of Chairman WAPDA Lt. Gen. Sajjad Ghani (retd) will complete the (K4) project within the stipulated time with his professional & expert skills, Chairman WAPDA Lt. Gen. Sajjad Ghani (retired) expressed his views & said that the (K4) project will be completed as soon as possible in collaboration with other relevant departments including the KW&SB, He said that completing the (K4) project early is one of our top priorities, and therefore steps are being taken on emergency basis for its immediate completion, Inshallah (K4) the project will be completed in its scheduled time, appreciating the efforts made by CEO KW&SB Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed for the improvement of water supply & drainage in the city, he said that the services rendered by the KW&SB administration for the improvement of water supply & drainage for the city are worth it, There is a definition, It should be noted that the (K4) project has been designed to supply 650 million gallons of water per day to Karachi from the Kenjhar Lake of the Indus River, While the completion of the first phase of the (K4) project will provide 260 million gallons of water per day to the city of Karachi, the federal government has entrusted the responsibility of construction of the first phase of this project to WAPDA.
