کراچی:- ( ) سی ای او واٹر کارپوریشن انجینئر سید صلاح الدین احمد اور سی او او واٹر کارپوریشن انجینئر اسداللہ خان نے یوم ِدفاع و شہداء پاکستان کے موقع پر اپنے جاری کردہ پیغام میں کہا کہ 6 ستمبر 1965ء کا دن عسکری اعتبار سے ہمارے لیے باعثِ فخر ہے جبکہ یومِ دفاع ہمارے لیے بطور ایک قومی دن کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے کیونکہ جب کئی گنا زیادہ فوجی قوت اور دفاعی وسائل کے ساتھ بھارت نے مکاری و عیاری سے اپنے مکروہ عزائم کی تکمیل کے لیے رات کی تاریکی میں ارض پاکستان پر حملہ کیا تو افواجِ پاکستان نے اپنی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت، ملک سے محبت اور جانثاری کے جرات مندانہ جذبے سے اس بڑے حملے کو ناممکن بنادیا، افواج پاکستان اپنی جان کی پرواہ کیے بغیر جرات و بہادری سے لڑے اور عظیم قربانیوں پیش کرتے ہوئے دفاع وطن کا فریِضہ نبھانے میں کامیاب ہوئے، انکا کہنا تھا کہ 1965ء میں جب دشمن نے ہماری آزادی اور بقاء کو پامال کرنے کی کوشش کی تو پاکستانی قوم مضبوط چٹان کی طرح اس کے سامنے ڈٹی رہی کیونکہ زندہ قومیں ہمیشہ آزمائشوں سے گزر کر اور بھی زیادہ مضبوط ہو جاتی ہیں، 6 ستمبر کو ہندوستان نے پاکستان پر غیر اعلانیہ جنگ مسلط کی تو پوری قوم محافظان وطن کی حمایت میں اٹھ کھڑی ہوئی تھی جبکہ بہت سے محب وطن نہتے پیدل ہی سرحدوں کی جانب چل پڑے، قومی ہم آہنگی اور یکجہتی کے اس عظیم مظاہرے نے ہماری بہادر مسلح افواج کے جذبوں کو اور بھی مہمیز لگا دی اور وہ دشمن کے خلاف اس بے خوفی سے لڑے کہ دنیا میں اس کی کوئی بھی مثال نہیں ملتی، ہمارے بہادر جوانوں، پائلٹوں، افسروں اور سیلروں نے دنیا پر ثابت کردیا کہ وطن کے ایک ایک انچ کی حفاظت کے لیے ہمہ وقت تیار ہیں، چاہیے اس کے لیے انہیں کوئی بھی قیمت چکانا کیوں نہ پڑے، انہوں نے کہا 6 ستمبر کا عظیم دن ہر سال ہمیں اپنے قومی ہیروز، مسلح افواج کے جانبازوں اور خاص طور پر ان شہداء اور غازیوں کو خراج تحسین پیش کرنے کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے جو ہمیشہ سے قوم کی امید اور فخر رہے ہیں، انکا کہنا تھا ہم وطن کی سلامتی اور تحفظ کے لیے اپنی قیمتی جانیں قربان کرنے والے قوم کے ان بہادر بیٹوں کو سلام پیش کرتے ہیں اور ان عظیم شہداء کے خاندانوں کو بھی خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے پیاروں کو مادرِ وطن پر نچھاور کردیا، انکا مزید کہنا تھا کہ ہماری باحوصلہ قوم اور مضبوط مسلح افواج نے بارہا یہ ثابت کیا ہے کہ ہم دفاع وطن کی نہ صرف بھرپور صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں بلکہ کسی بھی قسم کی جارحیت سے نمٹنے کے لیے ہمہ وقت تیار ہیں، اس لیے آیئے، جنگ ستمبر کے ولولہ انگیز جذبوں کو اپنے دلوں میں ہمیشہ تازہ رکھیں کیونکہ یہ جذبے آئندہ درپیش تمام چیلنجز میں سرخرو ہونے کے لیے کافی ہیں، آیئے، اپنے ان عظیم شہدا اور غازیوں کو خراج عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے اس عہد کی تجدید کریں کہ ہم ملک کے دفاع، سلامتی اور بقا کا تحفظ ہر قیمت پر کرتے رہیں گے۔

Message of CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed and COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan on the Occasion of Pakistan Defense and Martyrs Day.
Chief Executive Officer of Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation, Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed and Chief Operating Officer, Engineer Asadullah Khan in their message on the occasion of Pakistan Defense and Martyrs Day of September 6, 1965, said how the nation takes pride in the day.
Both the officials said how September 6, is a day of pride for our military history as well. The Defense Day is a national day for us, because when India, with more military strength and defense resources attacked the land of Pakistan in the dark of night to fulfill its nefarious ambitions, the Pakistani forces used their professionalism, love for the country, passion and will to sacrifice for country and made the foiled the major attack against them.
They said that the Pakistani military fought bravely without caring for their life, and were able to fulfill the duty of defending the country.
They said that, in 1965 when the enemy tried to topple our freedom and survival, the Pakistani nation stood before it like a strong rock, because living nations become stronger through trials.
On September 6, when India imposed an undeclared war on Pakistan, the entire nation stood up in support of the defenders of the homeland, While many patriots went towards the borders on barefoot, this great display of national harmony and solidarity further boosted the spirits of our brave armed forces and they fought against the enemy with such fearlessness that there is no example of it in the world, our brave men, pilots, officers and sailors have proved to the world that they are always ready to protect every inch of the motherland on any circumstances.
They said that every year the day of September 6 gives us an opportunity to pay tribute to our national heroes, armed forces veterans and especially those martyrs and veterans, who have always been the hope and pride of the nation.
They said that we salute to these brave sons of the nation who sacrificed their precious lives for the safety and security of the country and also pay tribute to the families of these great martyrs, those who showered their loved ones on the motherland.
They further said that the our brave nation and strong armed forces have repeatedly proved that we not only have full capacity to defend the country, Rather, they are always ready to deal with any kind of aggression, so let us keep the thrilling emotions of the September War always fresh in your hearts, because these passions are enough to lead the way in all future challenges. Let us pay homage to our great martyrs and ghazis and renew the pledge that we will continue to protect the defense, security and survival of the country at all costs
