Karachi:- ( ) On the auspicious occasion of Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day, a grand national flag hoisting ceremony was held at MD Secretariat Water Corporation, according to the spokesperson of Water Corporation, Chief Guest of the Independence Day ceremony was CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed and COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan, the main event was started by Qari Ateeq Ur Rehman with the recitation of Holy Quran Pak, Ahmed Ameen received the blessing of Naat Rasool in the Bargah of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him), The main event was officially started with the unfurling of the national flag, while after unfurling the national flag, a special prayer was also offered for the development and security of the country.
CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed addressed the central independence celebration ceremony and said that the ask the countries that are not free what freedom is called, today is the moment to reaffirm our commitment to continue to follow the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, today is an opportunity to pay homage to all those sons of the soil, who sacrificed their lives to defend the ideological borders of the motherland because nations that forget their martyrs, their names and marks are erased from the earth, as we hoist our national flag on the occasion of Independence Day, we must ensure to follow our national values of unity, faith and discipline as envisioned by the Quaid-e-Azam.
He said that freedom is a great blessing of ALLAH TALAA, and August 14 is the most important day for us from all days, so we should celebrate it to the fullest.
Allah Ta’ala has blessed our beloved country with countless blessings, while Pakistan has been blessed with countless sacrifices of our elders, and it is the responsibility and duty of all of us to protect the freedom gained after the sacrifice of millions of martyrs and to protect our dear motherland.
He said that today we should take a pledge that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the integrity of Pakistan. GOD willing, we will spent day and night in protecting and serving our beloved country.
He said that the today on the occasion of Independence, we should not forget our Kashmiri brothers and sisters, who are struggling for their right to self determination under extreme adverse conditions and unspeakable oppression under Indian illegal occupation, Therefore, we all Pakistanis will continue our full support for the just cause of our Kashmiri brothers, and they are still looking to the international community to fulfill the promises made to Kashmiris.
He further said that the officers and employees of the Water Corporation are the asset of the organization, the Corporation plays an important role in the development of the city leader and services to the citizens, and today we all have to pledge to work harder to make our organization stronger, while the Water Corporation provides all the facilities of water supply and drainage to all citizens without any discrimination of religion, nation, caste and race,
