کراچی:- ( ) سندھ حکومت شہر میں فراہمی و نکاسی آب کی مزید بہتری کے لیے اچھے اقدامات کر رہی ہے، کیونکہ شہریوں کو فراہمی و نکاسی آب کی بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرنا ہمارے منشور میں شامل ہے، شہر میں پانی چوری کی روکنے اور منصفانہ تقسیم کے لیے ٹاؤنز چیئرمین اور واٹر بورڈ افسران پر مشتمل ایک مشترکہ کمیٹی قائم کی جائے تاکہ شہر میں پانی کی منصفانہ تقسیم ہو سکے، ان خیالات کا اظہار ڈپٹی میئر کراچی سلمان عبداللہ مراد نے چیئرمین سیکریٹریٹ کارساز میں پانی کی منصفانہ تقسیم کے حوالے سے ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا، اجلاس میں سینئر رہنما پی پی و پارلیمانی لیڈر کے ایم سی سید نجمی عالم، معاون خصوصی علی احمد جان، پی پی رہنما کرم اللہ وقاصی، ٹاؤن چیئرمین، بلدیا، سینٹرل، مومن آباد، موڑرو میر بحر سمیت سی او او واٹر بورڈ انجینئر اسداللہ خان، محمد حنیف بلوچ، ندیم احمد کرمانی آغا سعید اور واٹر بورڈ کے دیگر اعلیٰ حکام شریک تھے، اس موقع پر پی پی رہنما سید نجمی عالم نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ شہر میں پانی چوری اور پانی کے رساؤ کو روکنے کے لیے ہنگامی اقدامات کے جائیں، انہوں نے نو منتخب چیئرمین سے مخاطب ہوتے ہوئے کہا کہ پانی کی منصفانہ تقسیم کے لیے واٹر بورڈ کے ساتھ بھرپور تعاون کیا جائے، پی پی رہنما پی پی رہنما کرم اللہ وقاصی کا کہنا تھا کہ تمام غیر قانونی کنکشن اور ہائیڈرنٹس کی نشاندھی کرتے ہوئے انکے خلاف بلا تفریق کاروائی کی جائے، اجلاس کے موقع پر ڈپٹی میئر کراچی سلمان عبداللہ مراد نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پانی چوری روکنے کے لیے ٹاؤنز چیئرمین اور واٹر بورڈ افسران پر مشتمل ایک مشترکہ کمیٹی قائم کی جائے تاکہ شہر میں پانی منصفانہ تقسیم ہو سکے اور کمیٹی مجھے ایک ہفتے میں اپنی رپورٹ پیش کرے، انہوں نے کہا سندھ حکومت شہر میں فراہمی و نکاسی آب کی مزید بہتری کے لیے اچھے اقدامات کر رہی ہے، انکا مزید کہنا تھا کہ کراچی واٹر اینڈ سیوریج کارپوریشن ایکٹ بنے سے شہر میں کافی بہتری آئے گی جبکہ ایکٹ کے نافذ عمل ہوتے ہی اس بات کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا کہ شہر میں فراہمی و نکاسی آب کے نظام میں مزید بہتری لائی جائے کیونکہ شہریوں کو فراہمی و نکاسی آب کی بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرنا ہمارے منشور میں شامل ہے، اجلاس کے موقع پر سی او او واٹر بورڈ انجینئر اسداللہ خان نے ڈپٹی میئر کراچی سلمان عبداللہ مراد سمیت تمام نو منتخب عوامی نمائندوں کو پہلی بار واٹر بورڈ کے دفتر آنے پر خوش آمدید اور مبارک پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سندھ حکومت کی خصوصی ہدایات پر واٹر بورڈ شہر بھر میں فراہمی و نکاسی آب سے متعلق تمام مسائل ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کررہا ہے اس ضمن میں واٹر بورڈ شہریوں کو بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرنے کے لیے دن رات اپنے فرائض سر انجام دینے میں مصروف عمل ہے، انکا مزید کہنا تھا کہ ملک کے سب سے بڑے اور کثیر آبادی والے شہر میں طلب سے تقریباً 50 فیصد پانی کم دستیابی کے باوجود شہریوں کو پانی کی منصفانہ تقسیم اور شہر کے آخری سرے اور دور دراز علاقوں تک پانی کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنانے کیلئے واٹر بورڈ تمام تر وسائل اور صلاحتیں بروئے کار لا رہا ہے کیونکہ شہریوں کو فراہمی و نکاسی آب کی بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرنا ہماری اولین ترجیحات میں شامل ہے، اس موقع پر سی او او واٹر بورڈ نے ڈپٹی میئر کراچی کی ہدایت پر پانی کی منصفانہ تقسیم کے حوالے سے ٹاؤنز چیئرمین اور واٹر بورڈ افسران پر مشتمل ایک مشترکہ کمیٹی بنانے کا اعلان بھی کیا۔

Karachi:- ( ) Sindh Government is taking good steps for further improvement of water supply and drainage in the city, because providing better water supply and drainage facilities to citizens is included in our manifesto, A joint committee consisting of Towns Chairman and Water Board officers should be established to prevent water theft and fair distribution in the city, So that water can be distributed fairly in the city, These views were expressed by Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad while addressing a high level meeting regarding fair distribution of water in Chairman Secretariat Karsaz, In the meeting, senior leaders PP Syed Najmi Alam, Ali Ahmad Jan, Karamullah Waqasi, Town Chairman Baldia, Central, Mominabad, Morro Mir Bahr and COO Water Board Engineer Asadullah Khan, Muhammad Hanif Baloch, Nadeem Ahmed Kirmani Agha Saeed and other senior officials of the Water Board were also present, On this occasion, PP leader Syed Najmi Alam said that emergency measures should be taken to prevent water theft and water leakage in the city، addressing the newly elected Chairman’s, he asked to cooperate fully with the Water Board for fair distribution of water, PP leader PP leader Karamullah Waqasi said that all illegal connections and hydrants should be marked and action should be taken against them without discrimination, Speaking on the occasion of the meeting, Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad said that a joint committee consisting of Towns Chairman and Water Board officers should be established to prevent water theft, So that water can be distributed fairly in the city and the committee should submit its report to me within a week, He said that Sindh Government is taking good steps for further improvement of water supply and drainage in the city, He further said that the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation Act will bring a lot of improvement in the city, as soon as the Act comes into force, it will be ensured that further improvements are made in the water supply and drainage system in the city, because providing better water supply and drainage facilities to citizens is included in our manifesto, COO Water Board Engineer Asadullah Khan welcomed and congratulated all the newly elected public representatives including Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad on coming to the office of Water Board for the first time and said that on the special instructions of the Sindh Government, the Water Board has been established throughout the city Solving all problems related to water supply and drainage on priority basis, In this regard, the Water Board is engaged in performing its duties day and night to provide better facilities to the citizens, He further said that the despite water availability being less than 50% of the demand in the country’s largest and most populous city, the KW&SB is using all resources to ensure equitable distribution of water to the citizens and water supply to the end of the city, because providing better water supply and drainage facilities to the citizens is one of our top priorities, On this occasion, the COO Water Board also announced the formation of a joint committee consisting of Towns Chairman and Water Board officers regarding the fair distribution of water under the direction of the Deputy Mayor Karachi.
