کراچی:- ( ) نیشنل انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف مینجمنٹ گورنمنٹ آف پاکستان کے 39ویں مڈ کیریئر مینجمنٹ کورس (MCMC) کے افسران کے اعلیٰ سطحی وفد نے کراچی واٹر اینڈ سیوریج کارپوریشن کے مرکزی دفتر چیئرمین سیکریٹریٹ کارساز کا دورہ کرکے سی ای او واٹر کارپوریشن انجینئر سید صلاح الدین احمد سے ملاقات کی، ملاقات کے دوران سی او او واٹر کارپوریشن انجینئر اسداللہ خان، ذہرہ دستگیر، سید سردار شاہ، محمد صدیق سمیت دیگر اعلیٰ حکام موجود تھے، دورے کے دوران وفد نے ہائیڈرنٹس مینجمنٹ سینٹر اور دھابیجی پمپنگ اسٹیشن کا تفصیلی معائنہ اور جائزہ بھی لیا، ترجمان واٹر کارپوریشن کے مطابق وفد نے سی ای او واٹر کارپوریشن کی جانب سے ہائیڈرنٹس مینجمنٹ سینٹر کے قیام پر ان کی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور انہیں خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے شیلڈ بھی پیش کی، اس موقع پر سی ای او واٹر کارپوریشن انجینئر سید صلاح الدین احمد نے وفد کو ہائیڈرنٹس مینجمنٹ سینٹر اور واٹر کارپوریشن میں کی جانے والی اصلاحات سمیت دیگر امور تفصیلی بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ واٹر کارپوریشن ایک نئے عزم اور نئی پہچان کے ساتھ شہر کی بہتری کے لیے دن رات اپنی خدمات سر انجام دے رہا ہے اور اس ضمن میں واٹر کارپوریشن شہریوں کی سہولت کے لیے جلد کمپلینٹ مینجمنٹ پورٹل بنانے جارہا ہے، کمپلینٹ مینجمنٹ پورٹل سے شہریوں کی شکایات کا فوری طور پر اذالا کیا جا سکے گا، انہوں نے وفد کو بتایا کہ واٹر کارپوریشن سیوریج ٹریٹمنٹ پلانٹ TP-III سے 54 ایم جی ڈی پانی ٹریٹ کر رہی ہے جبکہ سندھ حکومت کے تعاون سے سیوریج ٹریٹمنٹ پلانٹ TP-III کی گنجائش 54 ایم جی ڈی سے بڑھا کر 100 ایم جی ڈی کی جائے گی اس کے علاؤہ سیوریج ٹریٹمنٹ پلانٹ TP-I پر کام چل ریا ہے جس سے 35 ایم جی ڈی پانی ٹریٹ کیا جائے گا، انکا کہنا تھا کہ شہر میں پانی بڑھانے کا آخری منصوبہ کے تھری 2006 میں مکمل ہوا، بدقسمتی سے 18 سال گزرنے کے باوجود آج تک شہر کے لیے پانی کی ایک بوند بھی نہیں بڑھائی گئی جبکہ 2006 کے تناسب سے شہر کی آبادی میں اب 100 فیصد اضافہ ہوگیا ہے مگر شہر کو ضرورت سے 50 فیصد کم پانی فراہم کیا جارہا ہے، انہوں نے وفد کو بتایا کہ کے فور منصوبے پر واپڈا وفاقی حکومت کی زیر نگرانی کام کر رہا ہے، کے فور منصوبے سے شہر کو ٹوٹل 650 ایم جی ڈی پانی جبکہ کے فور کے پہلے فیز میں 260 پانی فراہم کیا جائے گا جس کا کام چل رہا ہے، وفاقی حکومت نے کے فور منصوبے کے لیے رواں سال 80 بلین میں سے صرف 15 بلین بجیٹ مختص کی ہے جو اس منصوبے کے لیے ناکافی ہے، انکا کہنا تھا کہ واٹر کارپوریشن نے حکومت سندھ اور ورلڈ بینک کے مشترکہ تعاون سے جدید طرز کی اصلاحات کے تحت ہائیڈریٹس سیل آپریشنز سسٹم کی ڈیجیٹلائزیشن کے لیے ہائیڈرنٹس مینجمنٹ سینٹر واٹر کارپوریشن کا آغاز کردیا ہے، پانی چوری اور لائن توڑنے جیسے واقعات کی روک تھام کے لیے علیحدہ پولیس اسٹیشنز کا قیام عمل میں لایا جارہا ہے، اس کے علاوہ کچی آبادیوں اور مضافاتی علاقوں کے مکینوں کو رعایتی نرخوں پر پانی کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جا رہا ہے، بلک صارفین کے لیے واٹر فلو میٹر کی تنصیب کا کام تیزی سے جاری ہے، سکشن اور جیٹنگ مشینوں میں فلیٹ مینجمنٹ پورٹل کا آغاز کیا جارہا ہے، دوسری جانب وفد نے کراچی کو پانی فراہم کرنے والی اہم دھابیجی پمپنگ اسٹیشن کا بھی تفصیلی دورہ کیا، اس موقع پر سی او او واٹر کارپوریشن انجینئر اسداللہ خان نے وفد کو دھابیجی پمپنگ اسٹیشن کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی، دورے کے موقع پر چیف انجینئر واٹر کارپوریشن انتخاب احمد راجپوت، قربان مگسی، اظہر قاضی، اقبال پلیجو، اخلاق راجپوت، اعجاز بلیدی، ندیم عزیز سمیت دیگر افسران موجود تھے، ترجمان واٹر کارپوریشن کے مطابق وفاقی، صوبائی اور خودمختار باڈیز سے منسلک محکموں کے اڑتیس افسران کا وفد خصوصی تربیتی پروگرام کے تحت ملک کے مختلف اداروں کا دورہ کر رہا ہے، دورے کا مقصد افسران کی صلاحیتوں کو بڑھانا، مزید زمہ داری سنبھالنے کے لیے پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں میں اضافہ کرنا ہے، وفد کا واٹر کارپوریشن کے دورہ کرنے کا مقصد میگا سٹی میں فراہمی و نکاسی آب کے نظام کو دیکھنا اور اسے روشناس کرنا ہے اور مختلف اداروں کے انتظامی ڈھانچے اور ملک کے معاشی حالات کا مطالعہ کرنے کا موقع فراہم کرنا ہے۔

کراچی واٹر اینڈ سیوریج کارپوریشن

Karachi:- ( ) A highlevel delegation of officers of the 39th Mid Career Management Course (MCMC) of the National Institute of Management Government of Pakistan visited Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation head office and met CEO of Water Corporation Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed.
During the meeting COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan, Zahra Dastgir, Syed Sardar Shah, Muhammad Siddique and other senior officials were present.
During the visit, the delegation reviewed and inspected the Hydrants Management Center Water Corporation.
According to the spokesperson of Water Corporation, the delegation appreciated the efforts of the CEO Water Corporation for the establishment of Hydrants Management Center and also presented a shield as a tribute to him. On this occasion, the CEO of Water Corporation while giving a detailed briefing to the delegation on the reforms to be made in the Water Corporation including the Hydrants Management Center and said that the Water Corporation should perform its services day and night for the betterment of the city with a new commitment and a new identity and in this context, Water Corporation is going to create a complaint management portal soon for the convenience of citizens, The complaint management portal will enable immediate redressal of citizens’ complaints.He said that Water Corporation is treating 54 MGD of water from Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III, while the capacity of Sewage Treatment Plant TP-III will be increased from 54 MGD to 100 MGD with the support of Sindh Government, Besides this, the work on Sewage Treatment Plant TP-I is going on, from which 35 mgd of water will be treated.He said that the last project to increase water in the city was completed in 2006, Unfortunately, even after 18 years, not even a single drop of water has been increase for the city while the population of the city has now increased by 100% as compared to 2006 but the city is being supplied with 50% less water than required.He told the delegation that Wapda is working under the supervision of the Federal Government on the K4 project, A total of 650 MGD of water will be supplied to the city from the K4 project while 260 MGD will be provided in the first phase of K4، which is in progress, the Federal Government has allocated only 15 billion of the 80 billion budget for the K4 project this year, which is insufficient for the K4 project.He said that the Water Corporation has started Hydrants Management Center Water Corporation for digitization of hydrants cell operations system under modern reforms with the joint cooperation of Government of Sindh and World Bank, and separate police stations are being established to prevent incidents like water theft and line breaking.Apart from this, provision of water at subsidized rates is being ensured to the residents of slums and suburban areas, installation of water flow meters for bulk consumers is in progress and fleet management portal is being launched in suction and jetting machines.On the other hand, the delegation also made a detailed visit to the important Dhabeji Pumping Station which supplies water to Karachi City, on this occasion, COO Water Corporation Engineer Asadullah Khan gave a detailed briefing to the delegation regarding Dhabeji Pumping Station, on the occasion of the visit, Chief Engineer Water Corporation Intekhab Ahmed Rajput, Qurban Magsi, Azhar Qazi, Iqbal Palijo, Akhlaq Rajput, Ajaz Buledi, Nadeem Aziz and other officers were present.According to the spokesperson of Water Corporation, a delegation of thirty eight officers from departments attached to federal, provincial and autonomous bodies is visiting various departments of the country under a special training program, the purpose of the visit is to enhance the officers’ capacity to take on more responsibility and increase their professional skills, the purpose of the delegation’s visit to the Water Corporation is to see and shed light on the water supply and drainage system in the mega city, the purpose of the visit is to give the delegation an opportunity to study the administrative structure of various departments and the economic conditions of the country.
